Account deletion

Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for AR FPS Striker, an Android game by Bravecat Studios. Use any one of the three options below.

1. Delete in the app (recommended)

  1. Open AR FPS Striker.
  2. Open Settings from the lobby.
  3. In the Account card at the top, tap Delete account and data.
  4. Read the notice and tap Delete permanently. If you linked a Google account, pick that same Google account to confirm it is you.
  5. The app closes when it is done and starts as a new player next time.

Server data and the app data on your phone are deleted together, immediately. Guest players (no Google account linked) can delete the same way.

2. Delete on the web (players who linked a Google account)

If you linked a Google account in the app, you can delete right here even if the app is uninstalled or your phone is gone. You do not need to reinstall the app.

  1. Click Sign in with Google below and pick the Google account you linked in the app.
  2. Check that the account shown is right and confirm that this cannot be undone.
  3. Click Permanently delete account and data.

Deleting on the web removes your account and server data. If the app is still on your phone, uninstall it or clear its storage in Android settings to remove the records left on the device.

3. Request by email

If you cannot use the options above, for example a guest player (no Google account linked) who can no longer open the app, email us.

  1. Send an email to contact@bravecat.studio with the subject [AR FPS Striker] Account deletion request.
  2. Include your Player ID (shown in the app under Settings → Account card). If you cannot see it, include your leaderboard call sign, friend code and when you last played.
  3. After verifying the request, we delete the data in section 4 within 30 days and reply to confirm. If we cannot verify that the account is yours, we may ask for more information.

4. Data that is deleted

Gameplay records, settings, reminder settings and other app data (when deleted in the app)Phone

Deletion in the app and on the web happens immediately. A deleted account cannot be recovered.

5. Data that is kept, and for how long

  • Your attempts on other players' challenges (call sign and best score) belong to that challenge and are deleted together with it. Email us if you want them removed sooner.
  • Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) are collected under an app instance ID that is not linked to your account. Deleting in the app also resets that ID; events already collected are deleted automatically after the project's retention period (at most 14 months).
  • Service backups: deleted data is also removed from backup systems under Google Cloud's data deletion process, which can take up to about 6 months. Backups are not used to restore deleted data to the service.
  • Advertising: ad data processed by Google AdMob is not linked to this account and is governed by Google's privacy policy.

6. Keep the account, delete some data only

  • Unlink your Google account: in the app, Settings → Account → Unlink. The Google account email and identifier are removed from your sign-in account and your progress stays on this phone.
  • Delete only the records on your phone: Android Settings → Apps → AR FPS Striker → Storage → Clear data. Server leaderboard rows remain.
  • Delete specific data (for example, only your leaderboard rows): email us as in section 3 and list what to delete. We handle it within 30 days.
